I’ve just added a new batch of photos to the Holga gallery. These ones look even more lo-fi than usual, for a couple of reasons:

a) I scanned the film myself using a flatbed to save a bit of dosh, since getting prints done usually costs me $1.50 per shot. I really like the effect it gives, so that’s a win on both counts.

b) There’s a few accidental double exposures and film fuckups… too much wine and changing film while you walk down the street and try to smoke at the same time will do that :P

Lately I’ve been rocking the Holga a lot, which is due in part to my getting shitfaced and wrecking the EOS 500 (along with spewing in a cab and splitting Ben’s lip, so I’m told) but also due to how much I love the damn thing. I have 2 more rolls in the lab at the moment, and a bit of downtime today has given me the chance to realise a project I’ve had in mind for a while.

Without further ado, may I present cheap plastic crap: the Holga gallery - which is my little tribute to the wonderful plastic beast and all it stands for. Anything I shoot with the Holga will find it’s way into the new gallery, and the choice snaps from each roll will be posted here so you know it’s been updated.

And of course, to celebrate - here’s a couple from the latest roll.
